Hallmark, hire me! ...

The flea market will be held Saturday afternoon and for the past three nights, I've been busy making cards for sale and as samples. I made a variety of cards, ranging from birthdays, easter, special occasions to "just because" cards. Here's what you'll be able to see on display:

I don't really know the significance of easter bunnies for Easter, but for some reason I was inspired by white fluffy bunnies.Must be because of Alice in Wonderland?

This is one of my favourite designs. I like how the tall houses remind me of the San Francisco houses in the tv series "Full House" :)

JUST BECAUSE: (... because I'm inspired by LOVE)

My little niece Nicole saw me making the mousey and decided she wanted one as well for her birthday card, so I made her a mini version of my mousey.

 

My girlies. I wanted a design that looked like postage stamps.

This is my personal favourite. I was inspired.

 And still in bunny mode, I had to draw this too.

You might notice a trend in my designs. I'm not that creative after all :p

Once I find a niche that I really like, I tend to want to make more similar patterns for a while. Because after consistently creating cards for so many days in a row, inspiration tends to runs low.

Don't think Hallmark would want to employ me after all ...

See the bunnies? And the girlies? And the red/blue window panelling? There's a certain pattern that goes on when I am inspired. :) 

And of course there's my favourite scissor work and cut-and-paste stuff, as well as drawings.

I think it's time for me to take a break on cardmaking for now and focus on other things instead.

And besides, my drawing pen is out of ink too ... it must be a sign! :p
