To the world you may be just one person,
But to one person you may be the world.
~ Josephine Billings
I was inspired by this quote when I sat down tonight to make my mom a birthday card one night. Because above everything else, my mummy means the world to me.
As a yearly tradition since I was little, I have been making my mom birthday cards (sometimes if I'm extremely inspired, then I make mothers' day cards too). Since mom is somewhat of my biggest fan, it does get quite stressful because I challenge myself to come up with a better card each year compared to the year before.
I'm obsessed with flowers and intricate details. I love my staple colours of red and brown too.
This year, I thought I'd try to do some quilling. Not too perfect on my first attempt, as you might probably notice from the mess made from glue - perhaps I need more sophisticated craft glu instead of UHU. I don't have a quilling tool, so my quills aren't nicely coilled up.
But anyhow, I am still pretty pleased with the outcome.
