Missy K gets married ...

I made this to give to Missy K as a wedding present a few months back. It's not much but it's made with a whole lotta love :)

I came up with the theme "Creating Memories" as it's a compilation of a 9-year history between Missy K and her hubby. I wanted to make something that told a story about their experiences together and since both Missy and hubby K are avid travellers, I narrowed down my choices to the places where they've travelled to together.

My theme for this minibook is called 'Creating Memories'. So here's presenting my handmade gift, all packed up in a handmade box. And as any marketing person will tell you, the packaging is very important!:)

Months before I started on this project, I bugged Missy K for some photos of the two of them throughout the years. I compiled them and printed them small so that I could fit several photos across the pages of the minibook. To illustrate the passage of time and to reinforce my theme, I converted the photos to sepia and placed them side by side in a long linear design.
And since I didn't want too much clutter, I stuck with a single colour scheme.
