Can you believe that this is the first card I made this year?
I seem to have lost my crafty groove, can someone help me please? :p
But as always every year, I make my mummy a card in May. Mothers' Day and mummy's birthday happens this month so I'm essentially killing two birds with one stone. It's like a push to kick start my crafty mood.
This year my theme is all about 3D flowers. What I had in my mind was little multi-layered pinwheel flowers, set against a backdrop of more flowers. I know it's a little simple compared to what I made the year before during my twirl-crazy phase, but I really like how it turned out.
Brads are very useful for fastening 3D flowers and keeping the center intact. I am a hoarder and I use my precious brads sparingly. And only for special occasions, like these. :)
